Nature has so much to offer that is truly packed fill with awe-inspiring natural properties that can benefit us in a multitude of ways. Thus, I came up with the name Embracing Nature an all-natural, sustainable and Eco-friendly bath and body brand that uses the wonders of nature’s properties to offer our very own skin with the purest most natural benefits.

Embracing Nature was started out a pure passion and love for the environment and trying in every way possible, as small as it maybe, to change consumerism and become more conscious of how we shop and affect the environment. The aim of Embracing Nature is to provide our customers with natural and Eco- friendly products that are affordable and beneficial to your skin as well as the environment.
We source local produce and ingredients from other small businesses. By doing this we are reducing carbon emissions, sourcing sustainable ingredients, Eco-friendly packaging and creating an environment that supports other small local businesses.

How Embracing Nature is transforming your routine.
I did extensive research into how our everyday bath and body products affect the environment, all the way from plastic consumption to chemical pollutants.
Plastic pollution is our number one enemy with close to half a million tonnes of plastic produced every year, with a staggering 91% of plastic NOT being recycled. In South Africa a mere 16% of plastic is recycled with the rest ending up in landfill which ends up in water sources adding to the 80% of marine pollution. The beauty industry alone contributed 120 billion units of cosmetic packaging in 2018.
So how has Embracing Nature changed this? I have packaged all my products in glass, which is more durable and longer lasting than plastic, easily reusable and recyclable, and doesn’t leach chemicals into my products. Furthermore, my packing is minimal with the limited use of paper and any forms of plastic. In any way possible I limit any plastic and use recyclable or reusable packaging.
