Mama Winnie learnt the art of weaving from her father in Zimbabwe. After his passing, she and her husband continued his legacy, building Winnie Wonderful Weavers—a family business they have lovingly grown together for the past 38 years.
Today, while they live in South Africa, each basket is handwoven by skilled women in Zimbabwe, many of whom are widows. Every piece celebrates heritage, craftsmanship and the preservation of traditional weaving techniques.
